The newly engineered D-1 Pump Base fits any model D-1 Diatom filter and is designed for long trouble free operation in any application. It attaches directly to the P-2 casting creating a pump sieve that prevents gravel from entering the impeller.

The base converts all features of the Diatom Filter into a thermally protected pump with on/off switch for other uses such as:  Reef systems, Drip filtration systems, Water transfer pump, and Power undergravel filtration
