The Diatom Canister Filter (1 gal capacity) holds 432 sq. inches of filtering surface.

The filter element is fluently connected to the exhaust port to insure 100% filtration of all the water that passes through the Diatom Canister Filter.

This Diatom Canister Filter also uses Diatom Powder, which is specifically selected for use with the sieve material in our filter elements.

Unit is equipped with 5/8" ports and a stable plastic base.
